Meet the MUDTALON: a trail and mountain running shoe for daily training on soft and muddy terrain at any distance.

Built for hills, mountains and mud, the MUDTALON provides uncompromising traction on any terrain you may encounter. Sharp 8mm studs will penetrate soft mud but also stick to wet rock for reliable traction. The unique shape of the sole releases mud instantly, helping you feel light and in control.

MUDTALON benefits from its lightest midsole yet: POWERFLOW PRO. Compared to the MUDTALON SPEED, the MUDTALON has a slightly thicker midsole to provide greater comfort and a cooling effect over longer distances. Despite the padding, the shoe's midsole is designed in such a way that you can feel and react to the ground beneath you - something that is especially important when running.

MUDTALON's brand new anatomical shape naturally hugs the contours of your foot, narrowing in the heel and widening towards the toes for a secure and comfortable feel. Two new MUDTALON specific approaches are built in – Precision Fit and Wide Fit. The biggest difference between the two approaches is the width of the front of the shoe, with the Wide Fit being wider:

– Choose Precision Fit if you have narrow feet or prefer a more secure feel. It allows for greater agility when running on steep or difficult terrain.

– Choose Wide Fit if you have wider feet or prefer greater comfort with more toe room. It allows for greater comfort when running longer distances when the toes can often spread.

A secure, locked-in feel in the heel is achieved with the MET-CRADLE. Underfoot, the flexible ROCK-PLATE protects your feet from sharp stones and tree roots.

The MUDTALON's sturdy upper is made from a durable and strong material that will protect the shoe from wear and tear caused by vegetation and rocks when you're in the mountains.

Product Care:

To extend the life of your running shoes, make sure you dry them completely between workouts. When they are dirty or muddy, clean your shoes to maintain the flexibility of the top and its abrasion resistance.

Laundry:

For best results, wash your shoes by hand as soon as possible after the end of your workout. To wash your shoes:

• Remove the insoles and loosen or remove the connections.
• Peel the dried mud with a soft brush.
• Rinse your shoes under cold running water, clearing all the other mud/residues (an old toothbrush is ideal for it).

Drying:

Put your shoes in a warm room, in a ventilation cabinet or out (but not in direct sunlight) to dry. Do not dry your shoes in a dryer or to radiators, fireplaces or hot sun in the summer.

You can accelerate the drying process by removing the insole and shoe connections, and by filling them with newspapers.

Make sure your shoes are completely dried before you wear them again.

Re -water resistance:

Like all fabrics that repulsive water, over time, the waterproof part of the shoes begin to lose its efficiency. To save it, we recommend that you periodically treat them with a product such as Grangers® Footwear Repel Plus.
