Inov-8 Mudtalon Zero – Lightweight shoes with zeroA drop for running on muddy terrain

Master the mud and rough trails with the Inov-8 Mudtalon Zero, an innovative running shoe designed for maximum speed, natural movement and unparalleled grip. This is the perfect shoe for runners competing in cross country, mountain trails or orienteering where mud is part of the challenge.

Equipped with a newly formulated STICKYGRIP™ rubber sole, the shoes feature aggressive 8mm studs that literally dig into the soft ground, providing stability and traction even when the trail becomes impassable. Thanks to the improved materials, the sole also offers increased traction on wet and slippery rocks – a key advantage for mixed terrain and sharp changes in direction.

Weighing just 255 grams per shoe (average across all sizes), the Mudtalon Zero offers a lightweight feel without compromising on protection. The basis of comfort is the BOOMERANG insole, which offers exceptional energy return, combined with the FLYSPEED™ Pro midsole, which provides an optimal balance between cushioning and contact with the ground - extremely important during dynamic running on uneven terrain.

Protection is fully integrated into the design – the sole contains a flexible META-PLATE protection plate that protects the foot from sharp stones and roots. The front part includes a strong reinforced finger guard that minimizes the risk of painful impacts on hard objects.

With zero drop, the Mudtalon Zero supports the foot's natural biomechanics. The heel and midsole are firmly fixed, while the forefoot is designed to allow natural toe expansion with each stride - perfect for quick changes of pace and balance over uneven terrain.

An added plus is the choice between two types of fit - Precision Fit, which provides a tighter fit for narrow feet or technical running, and Wide Fit, which is wider and better suited for long distance or wide-footed runners.

Product Care:

To extend the life of your running shoes, make sure you dry them completely between workouts. When they are dirty or muddy, clean your shoes to maintain the flexibility of the top and its abrasion resistance.

Laundry:

For best results, wash your shoes by hand as soon as possible after the end of your workout. To wash your shoes:

• Remove the insoles and loosen or remove the connections.
• Peel the dried mud with a soft brush.
• Rinse your shoes under cold running water, clearing all the other mud/residues (an old toothbrush is ideal for it).

Drying:

Put your shoes in a warm room, in a ventilation cabinet or out (but not in direct sunlight) to dry. Do not dry your shoes in a dryer or to radiators, fireplaces or hot sun in the summer.

You can accelerate the drying process by removing the insole and shoe connections, and by filling them with newspapers.

Make sure your shoes are completely dried before you wear them again.

Re -water resistance:

Like all fabrics that repulsive water, over time, the waterproof part of the shoes begin to lose its efficiency. To save it, we recommend that you periodically treat them with a product such as Grangers® Footwear Repel Plus.
