BARKU NITRIX x STD – Control and speed when the terrain gets aggressive

This is not a shoe for compromises. BARKU NITRIX x STD is made for serious orienteers who run fast in tough terrain – mud, roots, wet rocks. Where grip and control decide the race.

With a weight of only 220 g, the shoe gives a feeling of speed from the first step. However, lightness does not come at the expense of stability - on the contrary. The combination of metal studs and a 6mm grip provides aggressive traction, allowing you to attack the terrain instead of guarding it.

The FlightMatrix™ upper is designed to be lightweight, durable and breathable at the same time. This is important in orienteering because the shoe must withstand direct contact with vegetation, rocks and mud without losing its shape.

The outsole is responsive and dynamic - you feel the terrain, but have enough protection to maintain a high pace. The narrow cut gives precision with every step – something critical for quick changes of direction and technical sections.

An improved heel with softer padding adds comfort, especially for longer distances or aggressive descents.
